Because organic food doesn’t contain preservatives to make it last longer, (think of a hot house grown tomato with zero flavor) the flavors tend to be fresher and more vibrant. Imagine picking a gorgeous ripe tomato off the vine then bringing it to the kitchen to slice and drizzle with olive oil. It’s going to taste a whole lot different than that hot house tomato. It’s going to TASTE.

Pesticide-Free Produce

Organic food means fewer chemicals and pesticides covering what you eat. In conventional agriculture, there tends to be a large use of things like insecticides. Not only are these pesticides bad for human consumption, they’re also bad for the environment. Various studies have shown have potential for these substances to disrupt human hormonal balance and even cause some cancers. Organically raised livestock typically have room to roam around and ensure that the animals live a happy, healthy life outdoors.

Where possible we use suppliers like Farmbox (fresh, locally sourced produce and foods from trusted Carolina farmers and artisan producers.) and local farmers markets for fresh produce.
